Preparation
The launch-week checklist (learn from GTA V day one)
Ten years ago half of us played launch night on 40GB of DVD installs. Do better this time.
1) Preload the second it opens. Do not be the person downloading at midnight.
2) Clear 150GB+ now. Move, don't delete — you'll want your old saves someday.
3) Story first. Online will be there in spring; Vice City at night with zero spoilers happens exactly once.
4) Mute the leak subreddits the week before. Protect the first drive.
5) If you're building a crew, name it NOW. Good names go fast.
Reference
Leonida, mapped: every confirmed region so far
Straight from the trailers and official material — no leak content here.
- VICE CITY: the heart of it. Ocean Drive neon, the strip, and a skyline that has grown since the trailers' first pass.
- LEONIDA KEYS: island chain south of the mainland. Airboats, sandbars, that sunset.
- PORT GELLHORN: working port town, refinery silhouettes, motel country.
- GRASSRIVERS: the wetlands. Airboat terrain, gators, mud roads.
- AMBROSIA: sugar fields and processing plants inland.
- MOUNT KALAGA: forested high country in the north — the trailer's dirt-bike ridge run.
What we do NOT know yet: total map size, how much of the Keys is drivable vs boat-only, and whether Vice Beach pier interiors are open. November answers everything.
